Jeff is going to be a senior this year at Hamilton High School. We had a great time wandering around downtown GR last week for his session. I took his brother’s senior pics last summer, so it was great to work with them again this year! Enjoy the preview and good luck with your future plans!
This little sweetheart was full of smiles when we arrived at the park…then I got my camera out. 🙂 She became super serious, but did manage to sneak out a few smiles. And the few she did sneak out were absolutely priceless!! What a sweetie! Enjoy!
My goodness, this little guy gave both me and his parents quite the workout this week!! Who would have known that someone so small could be so fast and busy! It was all worth it, though! I haven’t seem Malachi since I photographed him last summer, so it was especially fun to see how much he’s grown. He’s such a good looking guy- I love his curls!! 🙂 Enjoy the preview!
This super handsome little guy is the brand new baby brother of Lexie, who you met a few posts ago. He is such a sweet little thing! You might not believe it from the photos in the preview, but he was wide awake for most of the session. And he certainly LOVED his pacifier. Let’s just say I was not his favorite person in the world when we kept snatching it away from him. We’re so mean. 🙂 Enjoy the preview!
I have loved getting to know Matt and Jill over this past year. They have such a fun relationship and that certainly came through on their wedding day a few weekends ago. It is so sweet! I also enjoyed our unintentionally long Panera Bread meetings where we realized we had a lot more in common than we ever thought. I hope we can do that again in the future. 🙂 Anyways, aside from a little rain during photos, their wedding day turned out to be beautiful! And they had great taste in shoes! It was a joy to work with them and be a part of their day. Thanks Matt and Jill! May God bless you guys richly!!
Last but not least, Session #3: Traycen!! This little guy just turned 1!!! You should have seen us and his mom trying to get him to smile for these. Sometimes I wonder what bystanders think of the adults. :)Anyways, Marcy had some tricks up her sleeve to get him laughing. So cute! Happy birthday buddy!
Session #2 in insane heat: James, my cousin’s little boy. He is turning into such a little man! He was SO excited to show me his backyard (where the photos were taken) and swing on his swing-set for pics. I just love his red hair and blue eyes… he certainly takes after his daddy! Enjoy the preview!
Of all days to do photo sessions, we chose the hottest days of the year for this session… and the next 2 I will post on the blog. Lexie did not seem to be at all affected by the heat- she was in constant motion for the whole thing! I was exhausted just watching her! I’m pretty sure her parents are pretty busy now, too, considering Lexie just had a baby brother join the family since this session was shot. 🙂 Stay tuned for a preview of Carter’s pics as well, hopefully within the next few days.
It feels like we’ve waited forever for this day to come!! Kaily is my sister-in-law’s sister, and as long as I’ve known Kaily, it has always been ‘Nick & Kaily.’ So I couldn’t have been more excited to be a part of their day and celebrate this long-awaited occasion. I also couldn’t have been more excited, since they had Cold Stone cater the desserts!!! What a great idea! And maybe I’m a little biased, but they had the cutest ring bearers and flower girls EVER- my niece and nephew and their adorable triplet cousins! :)Congrats Nick & Kaily!!
I am looking so forward to working with Dave and Lindsey again at their wedding in September! They are the type of couple where after spending a few hours together, you feel like you’ve known them forever! (Well, I guess I have known Lindsey for a while from my old church, but that’s beside the point!) They are just a fun-loving couple I just loved working with them! Thanks for a fun evening!! Enjoy the preview!
