We had a beaultiful night the other night for engagement photos. Matt and Jill are such a fun couple! They even had a few poses with their Frisbee Golf discs- I learned so much about the sport in just a few minutes. I had no idea that there are different discs to use for different purposes, just like in real golf! Who knew! Anyways, I am looking very forward to their wedding next summer!
This past Monday I had the privilege of photographing a friend from church’s extended family. Her sister’s family is up from South Carolina for the week and her husband left for England on Tuesday for work, so it was a miracle we were able to get everyone together! What a nice looking family!
We had such a great time last weekend with Alan and Lindsey! We got a little bit damp in the afternoon, but all-in-all, the day was perfect. I personally LOVED the reception decorations Lindsey picked out….Zebra print!! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your day. I pray that your marriage will be blessed more and more each day.
Lindsey will be a senior this year at Hamilton High School. Lindsey and I have been playing together on the praise team at my parents church on and off for the past few years. It has been so cool to see her developing the gifts God’s given her as a drummer and using them for His glory.
All I can say about this session, though, is wow. First we got locked out of her car in an alley downtown GR- her dad had to drive out from Hamilton to rescue us with spare keys. Then I discovered at the end of the session that I was locked out of my own home and ended up stranded for a few hours! 🙂 I couldn’t believe our luck!! What are the chances?!? Anyways, I’m thrilled with how the photos turned out- enjoy the preview!
Emily just so happens to be my husband’s cousin’s daughter. 🙂 She will be graduating this coming year from Unity Christian. We had a great time bearing the heat and humidity for this session. Emily is such a beautiful person both inside and out! Good luck in all of your endeavors this year- have fun!!
Meet Miss Ella. She has the longest, most beautiful eyelashes I’ve ever seen! She was so cute strutting her stuff in her little tutu! And I loved her mom’s crafty-work. She made the number 1 you see in the last photo and completely covered it with sparkles. Love it! Enjoy the preview!
Nick and Sarah tied the knot last week Saturday at Aquinas College. It was such a gorgeous day! I pray that your marriage will be blessed. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day…you guys are beautiful!!
As promised, here is the preview of Bryan’s family. Enjoy!
Tuesday night I had the privilege of photographing Bryan, who will be a senior at Grand Rapids Christian this coming year. I’m pretty sure Bryan will remember this shoot forever…between getting run off the tracks by an oncoming train and almost getting attacked by a St. Bernard (OK, so maybe I’m exaggerating a little), we had fun. Take a peek back later for a preview of the family session we ended the night with.
This little peanut is Lucy. She is 6 months old and so precious! We had a great time in the heat last week revisiting the alma mater- GVSU. Her parents and I all attended there. FYI, if you are in need of a videographer, her daddy does an AMAZING job!! (Spoken from experience- he shot my wedding almost two years ago!) Check them out at www.deependfilms.com. Anyways, enjoy the preview!
