Mitch and Jordan were married on October 15th. Despite the gale force winds going on outside, their wedding day was gorgeous. At least it did not rain- we were even able to take a hay ride after the ceremony. So much fun! I also LOVED the bright red shoes Jordan picked out for the girls. I love fall weddings! Enjoy the preview!

This is a family that is very close to my heart. JP and Katy are missionaries with Audio Scripture Ministries, and I have been blessed over the last year by getting to know them better. I have been working at ASM part time since January. Their family will be travelling to India next month until next spring, spreading the Gospel to those who cannot read. Read more about the ministry of ASM here. We headed out to Crane’s for some apple picking last week so I could photograph their beautiful family. Enjoy!
I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call a few weeks ago from a girl I had known when I was younger. Amy was actually one of my best friend’s cousins. I didn’t even know she even got married, much less to another Hamilton grad, nor did I know they had a baby. So when she called asking if I could photograph her family, I was very excited. Their daughter Aliyah is just precious!! Enjoy the preview!
I could have SWORN I posted this preview back in May, but it is showing up in my unfinished draft list. So, a few months late, but here is a little glimpse of Miss Makenna… now 5 months older than this. 🙂 Sorry if this is a repeat.
Have you ever seen so much blonde hair?? I just had to laugh when I was sorting through these pics… it seemed like for every 5 photos I took, I only had one with all of the boys looking in my direction. Oh well, boys will be boys- and thank goodness for digital cameras and large memory cards. 🙂 They really did great, though. It was fun to photograph them all now 2 years in a row!! Enjoy the preview!
Dave and Lindsey tied the knot last weekend at Central Park Chapel right on Lake Macatawa. The day was AMAZING! The location was beautiful, and I LOVED their details…very natural and rustic. The flower vases and candle holders at the reception were Ball jars. How creative! I think my favorite part, though, was the crazy golf cart ride through the Ravines Golf Course before the reception. 🙂 Oh, and the ice cream bar with Coffee Lovers Dream ice cream. That actually may have been my favorite part. Enjoy the preview!
Who knew fall would have arrived this quickly?!? The cool weather crept up on us all last week and it was FREEZING at the start of this photo session!! I was very glad I remembered to take my coat along. :). I had a great time getting to know the whole Orvis family. (I work with Lynette at the hospital.) Her family is great and they were all so much fun to work with. Enjoy the preview and thanks for being such good sports in the cold!
Mariah is a senior this year at Hamilton High School. It’s kinda crazy- I remember babysitting her and her sisters once way back in the day. (That doesn’t date me at all!) 🙂 I also took her older sister’s senior pictures a couple of years ago, so it was great to work with them again. Mariah is so easy-going and fun! I loved the animal print she had going on, too. Hope you enjoy the preview! (By the way, I LOVE her smile…especially how it brightens up her whole face on the first one. Beautiful!)
Austin is one busy little boy! His parents suggested we go to a playground for his photos, since he would not sit or enjoy photos any other way. They were totally right! He loved playing on the playground so much that he didn’t have any other cares in the world! He caught on about half-way through that I was following him around, so he would purposefully start running away from me. I think I frustrated him a little. 🙂 His dad got out their red wagon right at the end of the session and he was pushing that thing all over the place. I love how serious and intense his face looked as he concentrated on steering! What a boy!
