Last week, Stella and her parents headed out to a little field with me for her 6 month session. I loved her mom’s creativity in getting bows to stay in her ‘hair’- she pasted them on with corn syrup! Brilliant! Stella was too enthralled with the weeds and her new surroundings, and hardly even paid attention to us singing her favorite song…”The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” The things we do for a smile. 🙂 Enjoy!
First off, I have to apologize for not keeping my blog up to date. I have a slew of sessions that are already completed, but have never gotten around to putting the previews up. Maybe when life slows down a bit, you’ll see those up here. But as for now, here is actually a preview of a senior session I took last week. This is Kurt- we go to church together. I photographed his whole family last summer, so it was fun to work with them again. I absolutely loved to locations we went to and LOVE his red curly hair…especially by the blue tile wall. Enjoy the preview!
Ryan and Melissa were married last week Saturday, the 7th. Their day was perfect…and if you talk to anyone who knows them, it was a long time coming. They have been great friends for years, and everyone was just waiting for the day that their friendship would turn into something more. They were both beaming all day (Melissa even skipped down the aisle after the ceremony). 🙂 They were very excited, to say the least. Congrats!
A few weeks ago, I headed out to Zeeland to photograph the Bazan kids again. It has been 6 months since the arrival of their new little brother Bret, and both Tori and Joel seem to be fitting into their roles as big brother and big sister just perfectly. I was shocked to see how much Bret grew, too, from his skinny little newborn self then, to his chunky little legs now. 🙂 He is so CUTE! And all three of them handled the heat like champs. This was, too, one of the hottest days we had this summer at that point. But looking back on that now, it was nothing in comparison to what we are experiencing now. Enjoy the preview and keep cool!
It seems like just yesterday that I was photographing Tyler’s 8th grade graduation photos. Now he is going to be a senior at Zeeland. I can’t believe how fast time flies…and how long Tsakani Studios has actually been in business. I just had to post one on here of Tyler and his girlfriend, Ashley, too…it was just too cute not to share! 🙂 Enjoy the preview!
My cousin Julie and her husband are very excited to welcome their first child in August! We headed to the beach for a little baby bump photo session during, what was at the time, the warmest evening of the summer so far. Go figure. 🙂 Can’t wait to meet your little guy soon!
Ryan and Leah had such a beautiful wedding 2 weekends ago! I could not believe how much they lucked out with the weather. It was hot, but beautifully overcast with a nice breeze for photos before the ceremony, down-poured during the ceremony (which was thankfully held inside), then was sunny again as soon as the ceremony completed. They were a very fun group to work with…and I can honestly say it was a first for me to photograph a bridal party with weapons. 🙂 How fun!
Charlie and Melony’s wedding was amazing- especially for the fact that they had to change their ceremony/reception venue 2 DAYS before the wedding!!! They ended up having the event out at Charlie’s grandma’s apple orchard. The setting was beautiful and the food- cooked on site by chef Tommy FitzGerald- was incredible. And of course, Charlie and Melony were both beaming. I love that you can just see the love they have for each other all over their faces. 🙂 And to finish out the evening, we even had our very own fireworks presentation. Congrats, guys!
This little guy is turning one soon! We snuck this session in just in time before his family moved out of state this week. As I was going through these photos, I couldn’t help but laugh at the many faces he made. I just had to put together a little compilation to showcase some of them. He is so cute! Enjoy!
The Harrington’s are another family that I’ve had the privilege of getting to know better through working at Audio Scripture Ministries. Brad is one of the missionaries based out of Holland. Their family recently grew with the addition of Aline, an exchange student from Switzerland who is living with them this year. She has proudly taken on the Harrington last name. 🙂 It has been so much fun to see them all together- you’d never know she wasn’t one of their own. They all get along so well! Enjoy the preview!
