Ryan and Dawn got married a few weekends ago and had a gorgeous day for their wedding. It seemed like the leaves all started turning colors just before their wedding day, so we were blessed to be able to go outside for some of the pictures. Beautiful! I just loved watching Dawn- she was beaming all day long. I don’t think she ever stopped smiling. 🙂 So happy for the 2 of you! I had so much fun celebrating with you!
I had a great time last week meeting and working with the Genzink family. I also found out that they are extended relation to my sister-in-law. Small world! They were so great to work with and we had a great time wandering through downtown GR for this session. It was such a beautiful night, too! We could not have asked for it to be any better. Enjoy the preview!
A few weeks ago I headed out to my friend’s church in West Olive to take these photos of her kids. The church landscaping was so great for photos! I can’t believe how fast Caitalyn and Easton are growing up! Enjoy the preview…
These beautiful children are the kids of some good friends of ours from church. They recently welcomed their newest addition to the family, Micah. Jennalyn and Lydia are the proud big sisters and just cracked me up during this whole session. They sure know how to ham it up! 🙂
Last week, I headed out to Spring Grove Park to photograph this family. I had gone to high school with Julie and have photographed their oldest kid, Rylan, a few years back. I haven’t yet met their youngest, Carson, and I haven’t seen Julie’s parents in years either. So this was a fun little reunion. 🙂
This gorgeous model was my college roommate for a few years. She has done numerous modelling jobs in the past…her face has graced the label of fruit juice bottles (that was crazy opening the fridge and seeing your roommate’s face on the apple juice on the shelf), and she has acted in television commercials and TV shows, as well as performed on the stage of the Civic Theater. She is as talented as she is gorgeous! We had fun in the studio the other day shooting some updated head shots for her portfolio.
I have seen these kids quite often this past summer, as I work with their mom at our church. They have tagged along many times…and have gone on numerous donut runs for themselves (and me), while we worked. 🙂 We headed in the woods behind church to take some photos this past week before they start school next week. Man, I am going to miss those chocolate covered donuts. 🙂
I have photographed Katie’s older sister’s wedding and older brother’s senior photos, so now it was Katie’s turn to be in the spotlight. 🙂 Katie will be a senior this year at Hamilton High School. We had a beautiful morning last week for our session. I just cannot stop raving about how much I love Katie’s hair…all of that curl is natural. That’s right, no curling iron involved. I am jealous. Enjoy the preview!
Eric and Kim had a beautiful day for their wedding two weekends ago. The temperatures cooled down a bit- conveniently, as both the church and the gym where the reception was held were not air conditioned. They could not have asked for a better day than they had. They got married in the sweet little town of New Era. I had never been there before, but quickly fell in love with the quaint, old-time feel of it. Speaking of old-time, the car in one of the photos below has been in Kim’s family for years…I actually think since it was new. It was great! And I loved their idea of throwing paper airplanes as they were sent off to the reception. Congrats guys, and thanks for a great time! Sorry this preview took me so long!
I have been seeing a lot of this family this summer…you may recognize Jenna from her sister Leah’s wedding photos in June. She will be a senior at Hamilton this year. We went to the same yard that we went to for the wedding photos before heading to the studio for a bit, then making it to the beach just in time for a beautiful sunset. It was a perfect evening with a gorgeous model. 🙂
